Unlike basic convection ovens, the E31D4 features a digital control interface that combines dual LED displays with two easy-grip rotary dials—one each for time and temperature. It supports both manual mode for quick use and program mode with up to 20 saved recipes, including 3-stage cooking and broil cycles. A dedicated broil/grill element delivers 2.0kW top heat, making this oven excellent for finishing dishes or high-heat searing.

With 2.8kW of bake power, it operates on either 208V (13.9A) or 220–240V (12.9A), offering fast heat-up and accurate recovery. The single low-velocity fan circulates air gently for delicate baking tasks, such as pastries or proteins.
